Ashley Vater is our NeuroSpa Director and Lead Aesthetician. Ashley was born and raised in Basalt, Colorado, and is the true definition of a local. Ashley completed her Bachelor's Degree in Business/Communication Studies at Colorado State University. She returned to the Roaring Fork Valley after school to be near her family.
Ashley excelled in Basketball at a young age and she continued to play in College on a Basketball Scholarship! She is now coaching young girls in the Roaring Fork Valley. Her favorite part about coaching is instilling fundamentals. This creates a foundation for the girls to grow and build their own confidence.
Ashley has always had a love for aesthetics and skincare. She obtained her license to be a practicing Aesthetician in July 2019. For Ashley, the best part about being an Aesthetician is having her clients leave with confidence, feeling beautiful on both the inside and out.
Nicole is a dedicated member of the team at Neurospa. Nicole, together with the Neurospa team, embraces the holistic approach to beauty, enhancing the external attributes while promoting internal well being. Nicole has been practicing esthetics since 2001, and now offers the latest in permanent cosmetics, esthetics and makeup artistry. She is passionate about the latest trends and innovations in the industry. Nicole lives by and practices the mindfulness of beauty as an element in nature, fully focused on the individual’s perspective and stated needs. Her goal is to leave every patient with a smile, simple and beautiful.
Dr. Brooke Allen
Dr. Brooke Allen (left)received her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in 2006. She completed her neurology residency at the University of Colorado Denver in 2010, specializing in diagnosing and treating disorders of the nervous system including diseases and injury of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. She has special interests in multiple sclerosis and headaches. Dr. Allen is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in the field of Neurology and board certified by the American Academy of Procedural Medicine with a Specialty in Aesthetics. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Headache Society. In addition to her outpatient practice in Basalt, Colorado, Dr. Allen has privileges at Aspen Valley Hospital in Aspen, Colorado, and Grand River Hospital in Rifle, Colorado, where she serves as a consultant to other physicians and health care providers. Dr. Allen is also the medical director at Renew Roaring Fork, a local assisted living and memory care center.
Dr. Allen currently serves on the MS Society Colorado-Wyoming Chapter's Board of Trustees. In 2014, she was honored to become the first physician in Colorado and Wyoming to attain recognition as a Partner in MS Care. This designation by the National MS Society recognizes exceptional commitment to MS patient care and the need for patients to have access to a neurologist with current knowledge and experience treating MS. Dr. Allen serves on the Chapter's Healthcare Advisory Committee and the Rural and Young Person Access Committee, where she works to improve health care for individuals living with MS in rural areas of Colorado and Wyoming. She also participates in patient and physician education programs and supports local MS fundraising events.
Carly Stillman, PA-C
Carly Stillman, PA-C, (right) is originally from Glenwood Springs, CO, and was thrilled to return to the Roaring Fork Valley in December 2017, after completing her physician assistant training. She completed her undergraduate degree in Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado. After a few years working as a medical assistant, she then went on to receive her Masters in Medical Science from Saint Francis University and her Physician Assistant degree at Red Rocks PA Program in 2017. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and board certified by the American Academy of Procedural Medicine with a Specialty in Aesthetics. Carly is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Colorado Academy of Physician Assistants. Carly is active in our Mountain Neurological Research Center which is involved in multiple clinical trials for new and innovative treatments for various neurological diseases. She is also providing house calls at Renew Roaring Fork, a local assisted living and memory care center. In 2019, Carly became an MS specialist, recognized by the Multiple Sclerosis Consortium. In her spare time, Carly enjoys hiking, biking, crossfit, trail running, rafting, and spending time with her family here in the Roaring Fork Valley.
